On the weekends, I like to spend a lot of time with my dog Branson. He is probably the most cuddly dog I’ve ever met but since he is part Border Collie he’s extremely energetic. This means I have to take him on pretty long walks. Even though I am taking him on walks and it’d be so easy to just throw on sweats, I never do.
For some reason, even if it’s just running to the store, I hate not being in at least jeans. I always like to look presentable. Coco Chanel once said, “I don’t understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little – if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe that’s the day she has a date with destiny. And it’s best to be as pretty as possible for destiny.” While she was talking about make-up, I’m speaking on the whole shabang. I don’t want to run into an agent, director, or fellow actor with out looking put together. I don’t want to be anything but my best self all the time.
When I was a child, my mother use to say that this was me prepping for when my life is about being followed by paparazzi but no matter what it is, it’s just who I am. This look really embodies that. Of course, if you plan on rocking a similar outfit, bundle up a bit more. I was freezing that day.
