Missioni & Soho

I spent the day strolling in Soho looking for a great outfit for a party I have later this week. I also checked out all the amazing finds at the new LXR & CO pop-up shop. I met the world’s smallest Chanel bag. It was a beautiful fall day. With just a couple of layers, I  easily could stay warm. Breaking down the layers, I chose jeans as a base. On the top, a white long sleeve T-shirt, a chambray shirt, and a vintage custom Missioni blazer. I love the way the blue and yellow look together. It’s a great way to brighten up a cold fall day. This jacket comes from a full suit that was custom made for my grandmother, as well as the necklace.  It has the most amazing texture to it. She was one of the most fashionable women I have ever met. Even though she has passed, she still inspires me everyday. She had a grace and elegance about her that is only found with old film stars. She had a real sense of fun when she was with her grandchildren. I still remember her laugh. I love wearing her clothing because it reminds me of her. Check it out before.

We wanted to bring you something a bit new. Style isn’t just about the clothing you wear. Style is about you. Style is about the lifestyle you live.  So, we decided to start making little fashion films with some of my favorite pieces.

DISCLAIMER: The story I am telling at the end is about my reaction when I met Channing Tatum vs. Leandra Medine. Whatever, I’m a fashion nerd.
